SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY

"The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.” Catechism of the Catholic Church.

CELEBRATING MATRIMONY AT OUR PARISH

At least one year before you plan to be married and before you make arrangements for the reception, please make an appointment with the parish priest to begin the necessary preparations.

As a University Church, we also welcome and accomodate Catholic students and alumni of Rowan University to celebrate their weddings in our church building. Please inquire about the process for obtaining permission, especially if you are students or alumni from outside of South Jersey.
